Doctor of Physical Therapy
The Department of Allied Health Sciences at Yashfeen College is a center of academic rigor and clinical excellence. Under the leadership of Dr. Adeel Mateen Qureshi, a distinguished physiotherapist registered with HCPC (UK), the department offers well-structured programs in DPT, BS-MLT, and HND.
The dedicated faculty of Doctor of Physical Therapy comprises experts in orthopedic manual therapy, sports physiotherapy, physiology, and modern rehabilitation methods. Through research-driven teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration, the department aims to develop skilled, ethical, and globally competent healthcare professionals equipped to contribute to evidence-based clinical practice and emerging healthcare needs.
Medical Laboratory Technology
The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology is led by Prof. Aslam Hayat, an experienced biochemist with over two decades of service at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology and 17 years of academic leadership. The department is strengthened by a dedicated faculty with expertise in molecular pathology, cytogenetics, microbiology, and medical laboratory sciences.
With qualified professionals such as Ms. Aiman Riaz, Ms. Attia Abdullah, Mr. Samiullah, and Ms. Ambreen Javed, the department ensures high-quality education, practical skill development, and a strong focus on quality assurance. It aims to prepare competent laboratory scientists capable of meeting modern diagnostic and research demands.
Human Nutrition and Dietitian
The Human Nutrition & Dietetics Department at Yashfeen College of Allied Health Sciences is led by Ms. Maham Abid, an Assistant Professor, PhD Scholar in Food and Nutrition, and internationally certified clinical dietitian.
Supported by an accomplished team including Ms. Ayesha Fatima, Ms. Hira Sajjad, and Ms. Bareera Munir, the department blends clinical nutrition, public health, research, and data-driven practice. Faculty expertise spans hospital-based dietetics, community nutrition, policy advocacy, and global research presentations. With a strong focus on evidence-based learning and practical skills, the department prepares competent nutrition professionals to address emerging health and dietary challenges
