Instrumentation Laboratory
Our Instrumentation Laboratory
Introduction
In Instrumentation lab, students explore the techniques used to ensure the quality and efficacy of drugs. They learn methods such as titration, spectrophotometry, and chromatography to analyze the composition and concentration of pharmaceutical compounds. These techniques are crucial for identifying impurities, determining dosage accuracy, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
The lab emphasizes precision, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Students gain hands-on experience with advanced instruments like UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, HPLC, pH meter, analytical weighing balance, Fume hood, reverse osmosis deionizer (ROZ), and many modern tools to develop skills in data interpretation and quality control. This training prepares them for roles in the pharmaceutical industry, where they contribute to the development and safety of medications, ensuring they meet the necessary therapeutic standards.
