Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory
Basic Introduction
Pharmaceutical Chemistry lab introduces students to the fundamental techniques and concepts used in studying Organic and Inorganic compounds. It provides hands-on experience with methods such as distillation, extraction, chromatography, and spectroscopy. These techniques are essential for the purification, identification, and analysis of organic and inorganic substances. Through experiments, students learn about reaction mechanisms, functional groups, and the physical properties of organic molecules.
The lab also emphasizes the importance of safety, precision, and proper documentation in scientific research. Students gain experience in using specialized equipment such as biochemical analyzer, Microscope, Polarimeter, precision Balance, Melting point Apparatus, hot plate and orbital shaker to develop skills in problem-solving and critical thinking. The lab is also equipped with huge number of chemicals which are required to perform all the practicals provided by pakistan pharmacy council. By synthesizing and analyzing the compounds, they deepen their understanding of the chemical processes that occur in nature and industry, preparing them for advanced studies or careers in chemistry and related fields.

Skill lab of Yashfeen College of Nursing:
At Yashfeen College of Nursing, We have one Spacious, state of the Art and fully equipped skill lab. Skill lab of YCN offers a secure learning experience during the pre-clinical years before actual clinical training begins. The skill laboratory at YCN also offers students to develop their practical clinical techniques and be able to correctly examine, diagnose and treat their future patients. Skill lab of Yashfeen college of Nursing equipped with advance mannequins and models serve not only for nursing students training but also for assessment of their clinical competence/OSCE.
Labor Room setting at Yashfeen college of Nursing:
Yashfeen college of Nursing has in campus labor delivery Room which is fully equipped with all models. YCN is an institute to train Lady health visitors, Community Midwives and other nursing students for providing antenatal, natal and postnatal services in the community. This unit offers a secure learning experience during their training. The labor room at YCN has specific new born area.
Instrumentation Laboratory

This training prepares them for roles in the pharmaceutical industry, where they contribute to the development and safety of medications, ensuring they meet the necessary therapeutic standards.

Basic Medical Sciences (BMS) Laboratory at Yashfeen Education System (YES) is a comprehensive and modern facility that is dedicated to provide advance education and research in various basic medical fields i.e; Physiology, Anatomy, Pharmacology and Pathology. These specialized labs provide our students with the opportunity to gain hand-on experience and develop a profound understanding of the human body and its functions, diseases, and treatments.
Physiology Lab: Equipped with the advanced physiological monitoring systems (i.e) Electrocardiography (ECG), spirometry), which provide hands-on learning environment that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
Anatomy Lab: Featuring anatomical models, histological slides i.e; microscopic slides for the study of tissues and cells and human skeleton, which aim to prepare our students to understand complex structures and relationships within the human body, developing essential skills for clinical practice and research.
Pharmacology Lab: outfitted with equipment for drug analysis i.e; Tissue organ bath, kymographs, Behavioral models (Elevated plus maze, Light dark box maze), hot plate tail suspension model, forced swim model through which our students can develop animal disease models (pain, anxiety, depression, anesthesia, epilepsy, sedation and hypnosis) in mice, rat, frog and rabbit to explore the anti-depressant, anxiolytic, analgesic, anti-epileptic and anesthetic drug actions and interactions.
