OVERVIEW
Considering the importance of health and nutrition in the past years, Yashfeen College of Allied Sciences is conducting 4-year BS Human Nutrition and Dietetics program which focuses upon developing the skills of the students in preventive and therapeutic nutrition.
Our focus is to develop the understanding of relevant biological and physical sciences and acquire expertise in relationships between nutrients, human health and human behaviors related to food choices along with dealing public health issues.

GOALS OF THE PROGRAMME
In this program, students learn to make effective nutrition assessments, thus becoming experts in applying the principles of clinical nutrition to patient care in a variety of settings.
Overall, the program is designed to sharpen the scientific, technical skills and evidenced based understanding in the domain of nutrition and dietetics. This program ensure that our competent graduates are critical thinkers, lifelong and self-directed learners, clinical practitioners, and researchers of future.
Additionally, the department supports the development of professional competence in dietetics and duly prepares graduates for careers in clinical and community dietetics, health and wellness, public health, and foodservice management.
